Vattenfall BU Onshore Wind is now looking for the right person to fill the position of Wind Farm Ramp up Project Manager.
The Wind Farm Ramp up Project Manager (PM) will work in Onshore Wind projects during the construction phase and is responsible for ramp-up activities of new wind farms to ensure a smooth hand-over to Asset Management and O&M Delivery. The role sits within the Day 1 Readiness team in the Project Delivery department.
The PM is the driving force which brings together a wide network of stakeholders in BA Wind and sets the necessary structure and project management practices for timely delivery of O&M processes including IT systems of new wind farms. This will be achieved by creating strong cooperation with key stakeholders such as the construction project team, Asset Management, O&M Delivery, DDOM program, and IT. Key elements are: maintenance process, material management process and supply chain, RDSPP and asset register, document management system, SCADA/CMS and service order interface with Wind Turbine supplier. The PM will:
- Continuously update the pipeline of ramp-up projects based on new-built sites
- Plan and secure resources needed in the projects
- Lead, motivate, and support the project team
- Actively manage stakeholders and their expectations
- Capture lessons learned and improve the process
- Participate in DDOM Service Execution implementation projects as workstream lead or PM for the overall scope.
Required skills and knowledge:
Our best candidate has a relevant degree, with a minimum of five years relevant work experience in a similar position. Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written. Project management best practice knowledge and experience.
As a person you are structured, independent, and result oriented. You have superior interpersonal skills and the ability to simplify complexity. You are a team player who actively engages people by asking, sharing, helping or asking for help. You are also pro-active, transparent and sound communication skill. Experience with SAP is a benefit in this role.
