Are you the key driver in taking driving our process improvement culture to the next level?

Vattenfall Business Area Wind is growing in terms of added projects and assets as well as on-boarded employees. The combination of rapid growth and a highly competitive market environment stresses the need for a high degree of process maturity end to end and learning ability to continuously secure cost competitiveness at minimum risk .

Therefore we are looking for a Senior Process Improvement Specialist (m/f) with leadership aspirations and leadership capabilities. You will drive the build out and implementation of the Process Landscape and help taking our Business Improvement System to the next level. The overall purpose is to achieve best-in-class process improvement culture across the business units in Business Area Wind. You will do that by driving an agile Process Chapter consisting of business process experts from staff functions and business units.


Your job as a Senior Process Improvement Specialist (m/f):

  • Leadership role in the Process Community Matrix/Chapter
  • Use your extensive improvement toolbox (Brown paper workshops/Kaizens, Problemsolving, DMAIC,…) to drive and inspire people in all parts of Business Area Wind
  • Develop the Business Improvement system together with Quality Mgt.
  • Ownership of Lessons Learned Portal and support of usage
  • Introduce and champion process orientation, support BUs in implementing processes and facilitate cross BU process development and implementation


Your profile as Senior Process Improvement Specialist (m/f):

Our successful candidate has a degree (or equal) in engineering and/or 10 years of relevant experience of at least 5 years in management position (-s) and a proven track record within the field of process improvement and preferably also significant achievements within quality management of ISO9001/ISO14001/ISO18001/ISO55001 and implementation hereof. The preferred candidate has an insight in the wind industry or similar industry and can act as a sparring partner to the organisation in defining and governing the main processes.

We are looking for a communicative leader who is able to focus on both people and business and has demonstrable experience in managing teams in change and challenging environments. It is expected, that you drive and inspire change through leading process chapters/communities, hosting brown paper workshops in the departments/functions/Business Units and drive strategic cross organisational process Improvements.

The unit as well as the industry is in rapid change and our successful candidate needs to be able to combine a strategic focus with operational capability building on the foundations already established through the last years of development. Command of English is strong, both verbally and written.

Location
Flexible with preference for Hamburg or Kolding.

The function is responsible for driving a cultural change towards best-in-class learning and facilitating on-going efforts to increase process maturity throughout Business Area Wind. The function is responsible for managing and developing the Quality Management Systems including the cross BU process map. Furthermore the function is securing the legal and statutory compliance in all legal entities and a legal compliant organization in the current footprint.
