Your responsibilities as Trainee Supply Chain Manager
NES procurement team responsibilities are sourcing and managing the supply chain for hardware in our Decentralized value propositions within the categories Electric Vehicle Charging, Solar, Energy storage, Heat pumps and Energy management. In this role you would be responsible to help build up a cost-efficient supply chain for charging infrastructure and solar projects in the Nordics.
 
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies
• Ensure lowest possible cost price for delivery of hardware, software and services on all Vattenfall markets
• Manage stakeholder relationships
• Develop and build relationships with key suppliers and partners
• Prepare and execute strategic supplier meetings and negotiations
 
Your profile as Trainee Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for recent graduates holding an academic degree. You are fluent in business English. Skills in other world languages can be a merit. As a Trainee Supply Chain Manager you recognize yourself in the following qualifications:
• Business acumen such as ability to prepare and execute on a negotiation strategy
• Professionalism in building and maintaining constructive supplier and stakeholder relationships
• Result-driven – Procurement / Supply Chain is about lowering cost and increasing efficiency
• Communicates well in (at least) English and can hold a meeting fit-for-purpose and fit-for-audience
• Excellent strategist and analyst with ability to understand complex systems

Last day to apply is March 10th 2019. Selection period starts in March/April, followed by interviews in April/May. An assessment is also part of the recruitment process and will take place in May in Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May/beginning of June. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the Vattenfall International Trainee Programme will be September 2nd 2019.
