As a working-student, you will be able to work on the following tasks:
- Part of a project to utilise machine learning in trading
- Possibility to write your master thesis on a trading related topic
- Programming in Python
- Automation of workflows, data mining within the Analysis and Trading environment
- Closely work together with our team of commodity traders
- Very good programming skills in Python
- Good mathematical and analytical understanding
- Language skills: German or English

Within Markets the Business Unit (BU) Trading is the energy trading hub of the Vattenfall Group and provides all market access service activities to the group, including the sourcing of physical coal, oil and gas. BU Trading also maximizes the value creation in energy commodity markets by employing a specific proprietary trading mandate.
