ChlorOut awarded new contract

ChlorOut AB, the Vattenfall subsidiary marketing the ChlorOut concept, has been awarded a contract from international technology group Andritz for application of the ChlorOut concept and supply of an IACM instrument for the biomass-fired bubbling fluidised bed (BFB) boiler to be built in Karlstad, Sweden. Commissioning of the installation is scheduled for the end of 2014.

This is the third consecutive order from Andritz, following successful implementations of the concept in Poznan, Poland, and Workington, UK.

“We are delighted to once again be part of a successful bid for a new-build biomass CHP plant, and look forward to continue to work in close partnership with Andritz for this and future projects”, says Dr Magnus Berg, Managing Director of ChlorOut AB.
