David Miliband at Vattenfall’s Economic Seminar

David Miliband, British Foreign Secretary between 2007 and 2010, was the key speaker at Vattenfall’s second Economic Summer Seminar 2011, held in Båstad, Sweden, 13 July. He presented his views on the challenges for Europe's economic recovery, the energy policy and the current state of the climate issue.

The panel discussion that followed dealt with the European financial situation and Sweden’s future possibilities. Participating in the panel were Göran Persson, Swedish Prime Minister 1997-2006, Anders Nyren, President of Industrivärden, Karin Forseke, director of the European Council on Foreign Relations, and the host of the seminar, Øystein Løseth, President and CEO of Vattenfall. Moderator was Elisabeth Ström, Communications Director, Vattenfall.
