Olof Gertz leaves Vattenfall

Mattias Holmberg appointed as acting Head of Human Resources.

Vattenfall's Senior Vice President Human Resources, Olof Gertz, is leaving the company. Mattias Holmberg replaces him with immediate effect until a permanent successor is in place.

"Vattenfall is facing new challenges and we have decided that Olof will continue his career outside the company," says Magnus Hall, Vattenfall's President and CEO. "I want to thank Olof for his contribution in a period of change for Vattenfall." The recruitment process for a permanent new Head of Human Resources will start soon.

"Vattenfall is one of the most exciting companies to work with," says Olof Gertz. "I am grateful for the excellent cooperation with many competent colleagues and I wish you all the best."

Olof Gertz joined Vattenfall in March 2012 as Head of Human Resources. When leaving Vattenfall, he will, in accordance with agreements and guidelines, receive a salary for six months' notice and severance pay equal to a maximum of 18 months.
