Harald von Heyden leaves Vattenfall

Harald von Heyden, SVP Business Division Asset Optimisation and Trading, leaves Vattenfall and terminates his contract on 30 June 2012.

Harald von Heyden has, at his own request, decided to leave Vattenfall for personal reasons and move back to Norway. He has worked in Vattenfall's Executive Group Management since May 2010, first as Head of Trading and Coordination of Generation Management, and then as SVP Asset Optimisation & Trading since January 2011. Harald von Heyden will be available to the company during the entire notice period and will leave his job at the end of June 2012.

”I regret that Harald has chosen to leave Vattenfall. His mandate to structure and implement Asset Optimisation & Trading, as an operating division, is now concluded. It therefore seems like a natural point in time to choose to leave the company to spend more time with his family in Norway,” says Øystein Løseth, President and CEO of Vattenfall.

”Vattenfall is a fantastic company and I feel privileged to have been part of the restructuring and implementation of Vattenfall's new strategy. It has not been an easy decision to leave Vattenfall, but I am convinced that the company is now well positioned to face a challenging future,” says Harald von Heyden.
